Module 1

Acknowledge your need to give and
receive help to live, love and prosper.

Acknowledge your need to give and receive help to live, love and prosper.

“Acknowledge” means “to recognize the truth or the right.” By acknowledging your need to give and receive help, you are recognizing your divine right to live, love and prosper. Why is this the most important choice you can make in life? First: it frees you from the false belief that the need for help is a character flaw. From a very early age, we are conditioned to believe that needing help is a weakness. Then, as we grow into adulthood, this belief becomes stronger, and we become so handicapped we’re unable to admit when we need assistance. One of the biggest social ills of our time is isolation, which is caused by our inability to reach out for help. Social isolation increases the risk of many chronic illnesses, including cancer, diabetes, depression, heart disease, addictions, self-harm and even suicide.

Are you suffering in silence right now, but fear to ask for help?

The truth is we all need help just to live. Without help from outside, our life support is blocked. And by life support, I don’t just mean the basics, I mean all the help and resources you need to live, love and prosper in every aspect of your life.

If your life support is blocked over a long period, you will slowly die inside. Moreover, when you are dying on the inside, your mind will compensate by increasing efforts to look good on the outside. For example, take American Singer Whitney Houston, one of the most award-winning female performers and best-selling music artists of all times. While she looked happy on the outside, she was suffering and using drugs to get her through life. Likewise, some people may appear to everyone as trendy, smart and successful, but inside they are hiding pain and gradually dying. I call this being one of the “living dead.” Are you truly living, awake to all life has to offer, or are you one of the living dead? To live your life to the fullest, you must acknowledge your need to help and be helped in return.

Giving and receiving help is like breathing in and out.
As breathing in and out is a nonstop process of staying alive, living is a constant process of giving and receiving help. So, the more you want to live, love and prosper, the more you will need to give and receive help. Second: acknowledging your need for help opens your mind to new possibilities. You are like a seed planted in this earth. Just as a seed opens to receive nutrients from the soil, rain water from the sky and sunlight to grow, by opening your mind to giving and receiving help, all that you need to live, love and prosper comes into your life.

The way to turn poverty into prosperity starts by acknowledging your need to give and receive help.

By prosperity, I mean having everything you need to live in what I call the overflow, the manifestation of life’s abundance. To live in the overflow, you must first break down your inner fence. How do you do that? By acknowledging your need to give and receive help. Once you have acknowledged your need to give and receive help, you have left the world of poverty and By prosperity, I mean having everything you need to live in what I call the overflow, the manifestation of life’s abundance. To live in the overflow, you must first break down your inner fence. How do you do that? By acknowledging your need to give and receive help. Once you have acknowledged your need to give and receive help, you have left the world of poverty and :

“I live, love and prosper always, in all ways.”

Contemplate these insights. Who I am is what I have. My natural state is expansion. Contraction comes from my fear and lack mentality. Prosperity comes from my inner expansion. If I want more, I have to become more. How do I become more that I may have more? First, imagine new horizons of who you can become, what you can receive and how much you can give. Second, as you gaze at these horizons, visualize the new you living in abundance and enjoying your wealth. Third, see yourself receiving more and more wealth and giving it freely to help and love others. Making the shift from poverty to prosperity happens by changing your attitude of mind, and that changeover begins by taking the first step: “Acknowledge your need to give and receive help to live, love and prosper.”

Everything you need to live, love and prosper comes to you by giving and receiving help. To give and receive all you need, voice this affirmation aloud now: “I give and receive help to live, love and prosper.” In this way, you become one with the source of the universe, and all its resources become available to you. Taking this first step is like plugging yourself into the universal flow of all resources. As long as you remain plugged in, every resource you need to live, love and prosper will be provided by the universe. When you find yourself experiencing lack or poverty, get plugged in again by saying: I give and receive help to live, love and prosper. If you do not start experiencing the flow, it could be that you are not willing to give and receive help, or you have fear, doubt and disbelief. Your disbelief limits how you live, love and prosper. Every time you have thoughts of not having enough love, time, energy, money and so on, keep repeating this truth; I live, love and prosper always, in all ways.

Truth works when you believe.

Once you believe this truth, you will feel it working within you. When that happens, the inner fence comes down, and you will begin to experience the change and feel the flow of the universe.

Once you believe this truth, you will feel it working within you. When that happens, the inner fence comes down, and you will begin to experience the change and feel the flow of the universe.

Receiving comes before giving

We often find it easier to give than to receive. But how can you give if you do not receive? If you cannot receive, you will not be able or willing to give. It is by receiving help in the form of love, money, education, materials, or medical care that you can help and give to others. I learned the importance of asking for and receiving help while homeless as a teenager. At the time, I could barely read. One day, I asked Julia, the local librarian, if she could help me read. Every evening after the library closed she taught me to read and write. Thanks to Julia’s help, I went on to write books such as this one. My willingness to receive help has enabled me to meet all my needs, create my dream and help others beyond my wildest imagination. Like me, you are capable of creating amazing realities, but if you cannot ask for help or receive it, you will not fulfill your true potential. What you ask for will be given to you. But if you are not prepared to receive, how can you have it? Let’s look at how you prepare to receive what you are asking for. For example, let us say you have asked for a home. First, imagine having it, using it and sharing it. In the imaginary realm, your mind sees the imagined goal as achieved. By imagining the end goal as already achieved, your mind is prepared to receive all those things to help you achieve that goal. Second, meditate on the manifestation. Choose a vivid symbol that represents your desire. Then meditate upon the symbol manifesting your desired result. A symbol merges your inner and outer world. I used wind chimes as the symbol to receive my first fully paid-up home. Third, be grateful for receiving it. By being grateful, your mind understands and believes that you have received what you asked for. You receive what you believe. Gratitude opens your mind to receiving and the more you receive, the more you can give.

If you ask for something but don’t receive, it could be that you are resisting receiving. It can be hard to ask for help, but sometimes even harder to receive it. There is a famous line from an old movie, “It Happened One 24 Night’’ with Clark Gable, who says to Claudette Colbert: “I guess it would never occur to you to just say, ‘Please mister, I’m in trouble, will you help me?’ No, that would bring you down off your high horse for a minute.” Asking for help is not shameful or a sign of weakness, but rather a superior strength of spirit. Receiving help is your birthright, and the more you can receive to meet your needs, the more you can help others in need. By acknowledging your need to give and receive help, you have already freed yourself from everything that has been holding you back. The more you are able to give and receive help, the more you will progress and prosper in every aspect of your life.

HELP is the master key to life. Without help we struggle and suffer. With help we progress and prosper.

The following practices will enable you to give and receive all the help that you need:

a) Each day when you wake, say aloud, “I give and receive help today to live, love and prosper.”

b) Ask for help from those people who are best suited to help you. Then receive it gracefully and be thankful.

c) Give help to others and see the act of helping as a reward in itself.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Born into an Indian family in Africa; seven-year-old Pan Raja began to have a reoccurring daydream of all races joining hands around the earth. By the time he was twelve, the dream revealed a message for humanity ‘Help Each Other’. This message became Pan Raja’s mantra and helping others his purpose in life.
In 1966, a violent revolution erupted in Tanzania and his family fled to England. When Pan Raja was thirteen, his mother died of cancer and soon after his abusive father threw him out of the house. Longing to share his message, Pan Raja would stand on the street with a cardboard sign – Help Each Other. Then he purchased chalk sticks and at night, he would walk from place-to-place writing, ‘Help Each Other’ on the sidewalks.
After four years of living rough on the streets, he desperately needed a home and family. Pan Raja tried to join a monetary but he was refused. So, he joined the Royal Marines and was posted to Condor Commando Base in Scotland. The Marines became Pan Raja’s home and family, and he soon excelled to join the elite Reconnaissance Troop.
The Marines, called him “Monk”, because he meditated and lived like a monk. One day, while meditating on a remote beach, Pan Raja discovered that his message of ‘Help-Each-Other’ was a universal process that creates love, unity, synergy, and prosperity. He called it The HELP Process and had a vision to gift it to every person, in every nation.
So, he resigned from the Royal Marines and worked as a high-level bodyguard earning the money to give his teaching free of charge. His message spread and in he established The HELP Education Center in Bavaria, Germany. However, due to the constant and continual traveling, teaching, and bodyguard work, Pan Raja became burned-out, and the centre closed.
Then in 1992, while sitting quietly in his apartment in London, he realized that The HELP Process is a solution for global renewal. “Helping each other is the way we will overcome every crisis and challenge on the local and global levels.”       This was followed by a vision to write The HELP Book and distribute it worldwide.
The HELP Book was published in 1995 and endorsed by Eileen Caddy author and co-founder of The Findhorn Foundation; “I hope The HELP Book will help many, many people in the times ahead.” The second edition was printed in 1999, and sent to many prominent people including Dr. Deepak Chopra. Inspired by The HELP Book, Dr. Chopra invited Pan Raja for a meeting at Oxford University. During this empowering meeting, Dr. Chopra told Pan Raja that his message was much needed in our world.
For over five decades, Pan Raja has given The HELP Books and HELP Seminars free of charge. The HELP Process is changing the evolutionary trajectory of our species from hunter to helper, causing a fundamental shift in the way we interact with each other and planet earth.
The 3rd edition of The HELP Book is distributed world-wide. Pan Raja’s vision is to conduct the Pan Global HELP Education Program which was launched in 2020. His next step is to make the World Changing Dream Film.
